TAMARIND'S philosophy is to provide an escape from the ordinary, combining excellence in organic, holistic and specialised beauty and body treatments. We pride ourselves on having boutique Spa Treatment Rooms and being a smaller establishment, focusing on personal customer service and attention to detail.

TAMARIND takes its name from the exotic Tamarind Tree - a large symmetrical spreading tree noted for its medicinal virtues. Every part of the Tamarind Tree can be used to bring renewed life, protection and balance to the body.

Our aim is for you to let us restore your natural balance by detoxifying your body, hydrating and purifying your skin, relaxing tired muscles, rejuvenating and balancing body, mind and spirit.

The owner, Anita Hayman, qualified in Beauty Therapy in 1986 and went on to own and build a reputable Salon of Excellence in Profiles Health and Beauty, which she ran for 14 years.

After a break to start a family TAMARIND was launched in 2002. In 2004, Anita was nominated a finalist in Professional Beauty's UK Therapist of the Year Awards. Anita is also the Principal of the Sussex Beauty Training School.

Tamarind's Salon Manageress Claire Farr, won the Burgess Hill and District Rotary Club Achiever of the Year Award in 2005 and has been a valuable asset to Tamarind for the past 8 years.

All current Therapists have a wealth of experience and also teach within the Beauty and Holistic Industry.

We welcome clients old and new to experience the philosophy of Tamarind.
